Jeff Carey
Vice President of Sales, Indexable Tooling
Jeff Carey joined KYOCERA SGS Precision Tools on January 12, 2024 as the Northeast Regional Manager for the KYOCERA Indexable Tools Division (KPTX) and has recently been appointed the Vice President of Sales, Indexable Tooling for USA & Canada. In this role, Jeff is responsible for leading the KPTX sales team to grow overall sales and market share, increase our engagement with channel partners and internal talent development.
Jeff has over 30 years of cutting tool industry experience in various sales and leadership positions. Having previously worked for Kennametal/Greenfield and MK Morse, his experience includes working in the US, Canada and Mexico. Jeff has significant experience in channel partner development, industry trade associations, and AD.
Jeff holds a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and an MBA from Roosevelt University – Chicago. He resides in Lake Zurich, IL with his wife of over 30 years, Kim. They have two adult children Olivia and Ty.
William Sebring
Vice President of Technical Center (R&D)
As the recently appointed Vice President of the Technical Center (R&D), Bill’s responsibilities include collaborating with customers, sales engineers, and application engineers to translate feedback into the development of industry-leading products. With a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, his professional background includes 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience at Sumitomo Machinery and Stihl, Inc., and 21 years of experience in the solid round cutting tool industry.
Uwe Heinrich
Global Sales Manager – Micro Industrial and Printed Circuit Board Tools
Uwe Heinrich has joined the KSPT WEST team in the capacity of Global Sales Manager – Micro Industrial and Printed Circuit Board Tools. In his role, Uwe is responsible for the global “OEM direct” business of the Kyocera MIT brand as well as for the sales of the Kyocera PCB brand via our established channel partners and the KSPT group companies. Further, Uwe supports in a cross-channel function the efforts of the SGS MIT team.
For over 30 years, Uwe has demonstrated a total commitment to providing innovative, customer centric solutions on a global scale. Industry associates know Uwe as an enthusiastic and hardworking resource, always aiming for the customers’ success with expertise in the commercial and technical aspects of the industry.
In his educational background, Uwe was certified as a “Wholesale and export trader” by the German Chamber of Commerce. He earned his degree in International Business Administration at the IBS in Germany and started his career in 1992 with a U.S. cutting tool manufacturer.
Wayne Davidson
Technical Sales Engineer – WI
Wayne joins the KYOCERA Precision Tools Indexable Tools division with a wealth of metalworking knowledge and experience. Prior to joining KYOCERA, Wayne had over 20 years experience as both a toolroom machinist and as a sales and application specialist in industrial distribution. In Wayne’s new role, he is responsible for sales and application support of the KYOCERA Indexable Tool portfolio throughout the state of Wisconsin.
Michael Perdue
Technical Sales Engineer – Virginia & Eastern NC
Michael Perdue brings over 10 years of experience in the metalworking industry to his role as Technical Sales Engineer for Eastern NC and Virginia. Previously, he worked as a CNC Programmer and Manufacturing Engineering Technician at Kollmorgen in Radford, Virginia. Michael’s extensive experience in CNC programming and manufacturing engineering equips him with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by machinists and shop managers, enabling him to provide tailored solutions and exceptional support to our clients.
We are confident that these new team members will enhance our ability to support CNC machinists, shop managers, and machine shops. Welcome, Jeff, William, Uwe, Wayne, and Michael!
